Zoom! Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is one of the easiest, safest, and most effective cosmetic dentistry procedures available. The results are immediate and dramatic. For his patients from Scottsdale, Phoenix, and throughout Arizona, Dr. Williams uses the Zoom!® teeth whitening system. This system whitens teeth by up to eight shades in about an hour.
The Zoom!® teeth whitening procedure is completely safe. First, the teeth are thoroughly cleaned by a hygienist. After applying a whitening gel containing hydrogen peroxide to the teeth, Dr. Williams uses laser light to activate the gel. As the laser causes the hydrogen peroxide in the gel to break down, the teeth are oxygenated, which dissolves stains and whitens them. The Zoom!® teeth whitening procedure takes about an hour, and it is one of the easiest and most effective ways to improve your smile.
For patients who prefer to whiten their teeth in the comfort of their own homes, Zoom!® home teeth whitening kits are available. Some patients prefer this system because it allows them to whiten their teeth more gradually, over the course of several days. Home whitening kits generally incorporate a less concentrated gel that requires several applications and does provide the same level of whitening as an in-office Zoom!® teeth whitening treatment.
