Zoom!® Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is one of the easiest, safest, and most effective cosmetic dentistry procedures available. The results are immediate and dramatic. For his patients from Scottsdale, Phoenix, and throughout Arizona, Dr. Williams uses the Zoom!® teeth whitening system. This system whitens teeth by up to eight shades in about an hour.
The Zoom!® teeth whitening procedure is completely safe. First, the teeth are thoroughly cleaned by a hygienist. After applying a whitening gel containing hydrogen peroxide to the teeth, Dr. Williams uses laser light to activate the gel. As the laser causes the hydrogen peroxide in the gel to break down, the teeth are oxygenated, which dissolves stains and whitens them. The Zoom!® teeth whitening procedure takes about an hour, and it is one of the easiest and most effective ways to improve your smile.
For patients who prefer to whiten their teeth in the comfort of their own homes, Zoom!® home teeth whitening kits are available. Dental Bonding
Dental bonding involves applying a thin coating of composite resin to the teeth to fix discolorations, chips, cracks, and other minor damage. Once the resin has been applied, it is hardened using a high-intensity beam of light. Finally, the tooth is buffed to make sure the bonding resin is indistinguishable from the tooth itself. The dental bonding procedure allows Dr. Williams to precisely shape the tooth to optimal appearance. For patients with only minor imperfections, this is the least invasive and most flexible means of correction.
